About Me

About Me

Firepit

Growing up in Palo Alto as a young boy, my peers were obsessing over cars and trains.  As for me?  I would spend hours downstairs in the Downtown Palo Alto Border's on University Avenue, cuddled in an arm chair, eagerly poring over books of floor plans and historic mansions.

I don't know what it is about houses that have captured my imagination, but I love it all...from the design to the construction to the urban planning aspects.  It was only logical that I turn my eyes to real estate, and by the time I was a freshman at Menlo School in Atherton, I would spend my afternoons and evenings scouring agents' websites to see what was listed in the area.

By the time I was college bound, there was no question about what I wanted to do.  I headed to the Univeristy of Southern California to major in business, with an emphasis in real estate that I acquired by participating in a extensive mentorship program that exposed me to the dynamic world of a luxury boutique firm in the Beverly Hills area.  Additionally, I accepted a position as an assistant to a top producing commercial broker in Marcus and Millichap's West Los Angeles office, further honing my emphasis on statistical analysis.  Armed with an arsenal of experience, connections, and drive, I made the decision to head home to the Bay Area to establish my own practice in the area I know and love the most, and happily accepted a job at my first choice office, the Menlo Park branch of Alain Pinel Realtors.

Hitting the real estate market at the height of the recession was hard work, but beyond worth it.  I am now ecstatic to be this far along in my practice, and to see the impact my work has had on my clients who now call this community home.

My focus and personal stance on real estate is primarily based on three distinct principles:

- An aggressive focus on market data and analytics, many of which I run myself on a weekly basis.
- A belief that the historical narrative of the communities we call home significantly affect value, both today and for the future, specifically with regard to generational differences in lot size and dimensions, floor plan, construction qualities, and lifestyle trends.
- A platform based on embracing technological advances in the real estate field.

I am so happy that my approach to real estate has been useful and exciting to my clients, some of whom work in technological and data driven fields themselves, and some of whom simply enjoy the peace of mind that my analysis provides from an investment prospective.  I aim to make the process of buying or selling your home organized, data driven, seamless, and most of all, fun.

Like what you hear?  Don't hesitate to reach out, and I'd love to talk to you about how I do things.

Happy house hunting!
