How I Market

For every additional buyer that I reach, I generate another possible showing.  For every additional showing, we have another possible offer.  And for every offer we receive, we have another chance to get you the highest possible price.

It seems so simple, doesn't it?  And yet time and time again, agents are not utilizing the internet and its amazing marketing powers properly.  By working with an agent who is primarily using print based campaigns, you're missing buyers, and thus showings, and thus offers, and thus chances to hit your homes highest possible price.

So what's the difference between me and them?

Here are some of the marketing tools I use for all my clients.

Single Property Website

Every one of my listings gets its own website.  I work with a design team based in San Francisco to create a custom website displaying your home.  We use daytime and twilight photography, architectural detail photos, photos of neighboring shops and restaurants, video tours, 3D tours, and more to advertise your home in a dynamic way.  A custom sign rider with the URL is displayed outside the home, and a QR code is included in all newspaper advertisements.


Video Tour
Video tours are a step beyond your typical virtual tour, and allow the potential buyer to revisit your property time and time again in a way that engages their emotions.  Click the photo above for a sample video.

Matterport Tour

Matterport Tours are revolutionary technology that allows buyers to walk through your home from their computer.  This allows prospective buyers and investors to return to your home multiple times, keeping it top on their mind compared to competing listings.

Conceptual renderings are essential for lots, tear downs, and fixers.  By showing how a new home or expansion could fit on the lot, buyers have more confidence in moving ahead.  I display them in the home, and renderings are sent out to all parties who have requested disclosures.

International syndication is essential, especially because we need to get your home beyond the Chinese firewall.  I syndicate extensively internationally, to sites like Juwai, Mansion Global, the Du Pont Registry, international editions of the Wall Street Journal, CountryLife, and Chinese social media sites like YouKo, WeChat, and Weibo.

Targeted Marketing

emember how we found the target demographic that is the most likely to be your buyer pool?  I work with ReachLocal to create banner ads that are then sent out to websites that fit that target demographic's preferences.  On average, your home is seen 42,000 times a month.
